This image was taken in January of 2015, the pink glow along the horizon is from the Sampson Flat bushfires that ravaged the Adelaide Hills. The fires raged for 7 days and destroyed 20,000ha of farmland, forest reserves and residential land. Lake Bonney, where this image was taken, is 200km away from the fire and yet the glow could be seen on sunset for days while it burnt. This image is available in a special edition - printed on Fine Art Textured paper, which I highly recommend for this specific image!
